An apple a Day…
Did you finish the sentence with – keeps the doctor away? While there is no medical research to back up this claim, apples are one of the healthiest foods you can eat.  They are high in fiber and vitamin C, fat and cholesterol free, and only 95 calories. All natural doesn’t need a nutritional label. They require no prep time, just grab and eat.
With over 2,500 varieties of apples grown in the United States, you shouldn’t have a problem finding the perfect tasting apple.  So head to your favorite apple orchard, enjoy a sunny fall day while picking a basket of your favorite apples and take a bite of one of those crisp, juicy apples.  You could pair your apple with some peanut butter, make applesauce, or apple cider.  However you decide to consume your apples, remember an apple a day may just keep the doctor away.
